The brand needed a modern identity that honored its legacy while standing out in a space not known for design. Our task was to distill utility into symbolism and make the invisible infrastructure feel iconic.

Challenge

Verde operated in a sector rarely associated with creativity—water pipes. The first hurdle was the industry itself: critical yet unglamorous, practical yet overlooked in branding. Verde’s previous identity lacked clarity, emotion, and relevance in today’s market.

The mission was clear: build a logo that doesn’t just decorate—but educates. It had to visually articulate what Verde does, at a glance. That meant threading purpose into typography. After intensive ideation, we landed on a minimalist yet meaningful solution—a subtle curve within a letterform, shaped like a pipe bend. It was a simple gesture with layered intention.

This curve, rendered in green, did more than hint at infrastructure. It symbolized flow, continuity, and environmental consideration—all essential to Verde’s ethos. The result? A mark that speaks without words and transforms industrial anonymity into brand storytelling.

Concept

The simplicity of the design, with a clean, typo, underscores a modern and efficient approach, which may be reflective of the company's values or the quality of the products they manufacture.

The use of a vibrant green color for the logo not only plays on the word "Verde," which means green in several languages, but also suggests themes of freshness, eco-friendliness, and the flow of water.

Typography style

Montserrat is a geometric sans-serif typeface designed by Argentine graphic designer Julieta Ulanovsky and released in 2011. It was inspired by posters, signs, and painted windows from the first half of the twentieth century, seen in the historic Montserrat neighborhood of Buenos Aires. This typeface offers a total of 17 weights, but we advise utilizing the following: Thin, Light, Regular, Medium, Semibold, Bold, and Black.
